Provide effective front desk
support as the main receptionist
- Answer and respond telephone inquiries in a professional
manner, as receptionist.
- Greet and receive visitors to the school and make them feel
welcome and comfortable when they wait in the lobby area.
- Ensure the lobby area is a friendly, clean and professional
area for all visitors and staff.
- Support booking flowers for reception, common room and other
school events or personal affairs.
- Support the lost and found.
- Support to record and report student attendance.
Admin. Support
- Support school events (STEAM Week, Challenge Week, Dragon boat
festival…)
- Support ECA/ASC related issues.
- Support staff well-being events.
- Diary management: supporting papers for meetings;
prioritisation and researching as necessary.
- Pro-active support office: telephone calls, messages,
redirections; draft correspondences, high standard of admin support,
including fast and accurate turnaround of documents, emails.
- Support the Planners and files in relation to senior leaders.
- Organise travel arrangements (train and flight tickets),
accommodation and visas for the Headmaster and coordinating travel arrangements
for governors, as required.
- Timely and effective communication amongst departments and with
academic teams.
- Provide full administrative duties as required including
producing agendas, taking and transcribing confidential minutes of
meetings, circulating appropriate papers and logging /updating action
points accordingly.
- Support the academic staff recruitment process.
- Provide other support assigned by line manager
