Job Responsibilities:
1)Security Strategy & Implementation
Lead the development and implementation of security strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard facilities in alignment with regulatory guidelines and security best practices. Ensure that security measures are preventive and responsive to evolving threats.
2)Risk Assessments
Conduct regular and thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to facilities. Use the findings to inform security plans, procedures, and improvements.
3)Quality Control & Monitoring
Establish and maintain an internal quality control system for the security operations of facilities. Monitor and review security-related activities to ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements. Implement follow-up actions based on security audits and inspection findings.
4) Audit & Inspection Management
Administer post-security inspection and audit findings, ensuring that appropriate corrective actions are taken promptly. Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
5) Security Awareness & Training
Research, consolidate, and disseminate relevant security information to raise awareness across staff. Conduct periodic security training sessions to ensure all employees are well-versed in security protocols and procedures.
6) Compliance & Regulatory Coordination
Stay up to date with national and international security regulations and industry standards. Provide recommendations to ensure full compliance with regulatory security frameworks set by the Regulator and other governing bodies.
7) Incident Management
Lead investigations into security breaches or incidents, providing detailed reports and actionable insights. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve security-related incidents effectively.
8) Technical Security System
Coordinate/communicate with local office, service technician/engineer and 24/7 Command Centre for scheduled/unscheduled system downtime, alarm triage and/or break fixes etc. till issue resolutions and/or follow up actions.
9) Reporting & Documentation
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the status of security operations, risk management activities,and any incidents or security concerns. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of security assessments, audits, and training activities.
Experience & Skills Requirements:
1、At least 5-10 years of relevant working experience in protective security management of critical infrastructure, with a proven track record in financial services, and/or relevant enforcement background from public sector.
2、 Knowledge of Enterprise Security Solutions including and not limited to access control, surveillance and intrusion system.
3、 Motivated to work as a team to achieve team mission.
4、Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to influence and instill a strong security culture within the Line of Business.
5、Able to think strategically and is driven and motivated to push boundaries and encourage change.
6、Fluent English and better have related security experience of working in bank Security system experience is also preferable.
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Security Manager, to join our APAC Global Coporate Security team reporting to the Regional Security Manager, APAC. This role will be based in Shanghai office.
Woking Hour:
08:30-17:30/Mon-Fri and respond to incidents beyond office hours as and when required
