1. Responsible for developing and overseeing comprehensive health and safety training programs to ensure compliance with international standards and the promotion of a safe and healthy work environment.
2. You will assess training needs, design curriculum, and evaluate effectiveness. You will provide expertise in assessing employee competence levels and implementing strategies to enhance safety performance across the organization.
3. You will provide expert advice on the development of a Global OSH Training and Competency program and standards and its continued accessibility and effectiveness.
4. You will contribute to the development of and maintain a company-wide OSH Training Matrix managing extensive consultation from the business to ensure global applicability.
5. You have the opportunity to contribute to the design of the OSH functional competency framework aligning to international best practices as well as the development of a company-wide competency assessment tool and personal development tracker.
6. You will integrate the OSH competency framework into other functional programs and tools, in conjunction with IT and HR.
7. You will design a continuous improvement program to periodically assess the appropriate training matrices that have been developed and implemented effectively within the business units.
8. You will have the opportunity to deliver OSH training and train-the-trainer sessions to the business in person and virtual settings.
