Follow AL Safety Rules and Procedures
Ensure that the relevant safety clauses are incorporated in supplier contracts/ agreements
In coordination with Global Category Manager/Director, define and implement yearly sourcing plan and products sourcing plans, including but not limited to:
Optimize the E&C China supply panel to ensure the price, quality and delivery can meet the requirement of E&C China
Enhance single supplier management
Involve company product development
Bring innovative supplier solutions to maximize value proposition
Coordinate with other departments to complete the approved sourcing strategy and plan, review and capitalize regularly, to ensure stability and cost effectiveness of supply.
Filter proper new supplier qualification request before submit to QA team starting qualification process, coordinate supplier development schedule and provide support for qualification.
Follow up the *** PO to new supplier, evaluate performance after order execution, summary and confirm the real result of benefits for the company.
Lead supplier management and support QA annual supplier evaluation, monitor supplier based on action plan.
Conduct spend and market analysis, identify opportunities and maintain supplier base, follow up supply market through effective approach. Respond to changing market conditions and business drivers on a global basis to maximize leverage and minimize risk.
Maintain proper supply panel for project purchase.
Elaborate and maintain frame agreements for the responsible category.
Be involved during project proposal phase for assigned category.
Support and involve project category purchase including keeping project purchase strategy in PPP align with Global Category Manager/Director and implementation
Develop commercial bid analysis under total cost of ownership (TCO) consideration.
Purchase lead items or other equipment/material as assigned by line manager
To actively participate to the evaluation process of all the suppliers of assigned category.

University undergraduate or above, Business Administration and/ or - for law, engineering or equivalent, Management Degree in Procurement/ Supply Chain Management/ Global Sourcing will be additional advantage;
3 years or 5 years or more for Senior Category Buyer of Procurement and Supplier management experience is required (multinational EPC company and/or chemical industry preferred);
Good knowledge in strategic and project procurement in order to conduct category management and procurement activities within the dedicated procurement category.
Familiar with chemical processes and related equipment, and domestic and foreign equipment procurement related work experience;
Good negotiation, communication skills and team-working ability/spirit;
Fluent in English, good computer skills;
Have good creativity and clear thinking-way.
Ability for domestic and overseas traveling.
